We offer a wide range of services, from consulting to complete design, fabrication, and installation packages. We see all of our projects through to completion. Additionally, we coordinate with contractors, architects, and designers to create functional pieces of living art. Our clients are discerning individuals throughout North America, and we also have many international clients.

Our Legacy in Aquarium Design
The history of RAD is, in part, a history of marine aquarium keeping itself. Jeff Turner, RAD’s President, grew up under the guidance of his father, Joe Turner. Joe was the second president of the Florida Marine Aquarium Society in 1957. A passion for the new hobby of marine aquarium keeping passed from father to son. In adulthood, Jeff dedicated his life to the industry. Involvement in all aspects of the aquarium industry came naturally. However, creating beautiful large marine aquarium systems will always remain central.
Passion and Innovation in Aquarium Design
Reef Aquaria Design grew out of that passion. To this day, it is evident in all of our work. Over the years, we have continued to produce custom aquarium systems of the highest quality. Our clients include residential, commercial, and public entities. We continually seek out and adopt new technologies that help drive the industry forward. We have been on the cutting edge of natural living coral reef aquarium keeping since its inception. More recently, we have been on the vanguard of successful jellyfish aquarium systems. Each success builds on the shoulders of all previous projects. Our dedication has led to some exciting aquarium project opportunities.
Signature Aquarium Design Projects
One of our notable tasks was creating “The Indo-Pacific Coral Reef Aquarium” in the Sant Ocean Hall at the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of Natural History. This opportunity was bestowed upon RAD and served as our inspiration moving into the 21st century. We have spent years putting together a highly talented team of like-minded professionals. Consequently, we continue to produce the finest aquariums available in the future.
